Galo (Anacolosa frutescens)

It's been a week without a rain so need to water some babies in the field. This is Galo (Anacolosa frutescens). This is one of the wild fruit native to Southeast Asia. The fruit and seeds of galo (also known as aluloy) is eaten in the Philippines. The fruit is usually boiled before consumption and has a taste similar to avocado. Thai dwarf yellow papaya. This one grows from one of the sleeping seeds that was thrown long ago. We used to grow this variety way back in 2014 and we never save the seeds, just throw it and let nature do its job. 😍🌱🌱
