2 year old seedlings of Marula (Sclerocarya birrea). This is indigenous to the miombo woodlands of Southern Africa, the Sudano-Sahelian range of West Africa, the savanna woodlands of East Africa and Madagascar. The fruit is traditionally used for food in Africa. 💚🌱🌳

Opeh Palm (Areca vidaliana)

Young germinants of Opeh Palm (Areca vidaliana). It is a slender, slow-growing understory palm native to the rainforests of Palawan in the Philippines and northern Borneo. Often cultivated for its elegant appearance, it features a thin stem, an open crown of finely pinnate leaves, and stilt roots at its base. Conservation status is "vulnerable". 🌴🌴🌴

 

Xanthosoma sagittifolium

Additional propagation of this Taro variety (Xanthosoma sagittifolium). Its stems can be eaten raw for salad with zero itchiness. Food is prepared in less than 10 minutes. This is a must have in any food forest. ❤️
