Himbabao/Alukon (Broussonetia luzonica)

It's been raining here for a couple of weeks so I decided to outplant this Himbabao/Alukon (Broussonetia luzonica) for a back up to the one I outplanted last September of 2023. This is a fast growing pioneer species native to the Philippines and a must have to your food forest. 😍🌱🌳

The flower spikes are edible used as a vegetable. When cooked it becomes gooey and slimey like okra.

Propagation of planting materials will be out for release soon at BORIS PRIVATE SANCTUM.
