Mararing (Xantophyllum amoenum)

My first taste of Mararing (Xantophyllum amoenum). Although I have outplanted a single specimen 4 years ago but never got a chance to try the fruit before.

The pulp is creamy and cottony, it taste sweet like a sweet Santol. Hopefully I can germinate some from the seeds of these ripe fruits so I can have a back-up plant soon. ❤️🌱🌳

My lone specimen of Mararing outplanted October of 2020.
