My 5 year old Manggis (Koompassia excelsa) now at approximately 30ft tall. Considered as the tallest tree in South East Asia and the 6th tallest tree in the world. 😍🌱🌳

Champaca (Magnolia champaca)

Fruits of my 3.5 year old Champaca. This is from its first flowering last year and a lot has developed into fruits. Champaca flowers are aromatic and attracts pollinators especially butterflies. Timbers are also high value. Hopefully I can germinate some of the matured seeds soon for additional propagation. 😍🌱🌳




Fast growing species. It is now approximately 20 feet tall.

Homegrown Squash

Growing squash as a constant source of young shoots and flowers. The fruit is already a bonus. πŸ˜πŸŒ±πŸ’•






Squash can survive for a very long time even minimal care. Just imagine how long you can get or harvest its flowers, shoots and fruits. 

Bukagan (Artocarpus anisophyllus)

Outplanted additional Bukagan (Artocarpus anisophyllus). This is grown from the seeds of ripe fruits last July of 2024. The fruit taste sweet with a hint of citrus, it has smaller arils compared to Marang (Artocarpus odoratissimus). Only a few seedlings left. 😍🌱🌳

Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa)

My Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa) will be 4 years old next week. Successfully germinated this from a few sample of ripe fruits in December of 2020 and outplanted it 6 months later. This specimen alone produces already thousands of offsprings since early 2023. 😍🌱🌳

Pamintang-Kalat (Piper sarmentosum)

After 1.5 years my Pamintang-Kalat/Kadok/Lolot (Piper sarmentosum) are now crawling everywhere acting as an effective ground cover. This is medicinal often confuse with the bettel leaf. Its leaves are edible used to wrapped fish or meat. The leaves and roots are used for centuries for the treatment of cough, fever, rheumatism, diarrhea, postpartum, stomachache, diabetes and toothache. It is a must have in every medicinal garden. πŸ’•πŸŒ±πŸŒ±

My Basilan-Yakal (Hopea basilanica) turns 1 year old on the ground. The growth I can say it's fast since it's already at 5ft tall now. 😍🌱🌳

Red Lauan (Shorea negrosensis)

This is the Red Lauan (Shorea negrosensis). This is my replacement to my 3-year old specimen that suffered its ill-fated end last year due to the long drought. Luckily I still have some savings of seedlings in my nursery. In the photo below is one of the mother trees in the forest of Talangisog, in Northern Mindanao. 😍🌱
