A few more seedlings of native flowering tree Dalinsoi (Terminalia surigaensis) are available for disposal. This is endemic in the Philippines. Highly valued by native tree enthusiasts for its distinctive dangling flowers. 😍🌱🌱

Pritchardia pacifica is native to Tonga. Commonly known as Fiji fan palm, or piu. This species is sought after by palm enthusiasts for cultivation and is widely grown as an ornamental plant throughout the Pacific and Southeast Asia. The plants tolerate coastal spray. 🌴🌴🌴

White Torch Ginger

Rainy season beauties. The first batch of flowers last month already wilted. Time to cut and harvest so we can propagate via seeds this White Torch Ginger (Etlingera sp). 😍🌱🌱






 

Peanut Butter Fruit

Bunchosia glandulifera commonly known as peanut butter fruit. Birds feast on this fruit everyday and spread the seeds. The fruit is mostly eaten fresh, but is also used for jellies, jams or preserves.

Gin Berry (Glycosmis pentaphylla)

Pink citrusy fruits of Gin Berry (Glycosmis pentaphylla) also sometimes known as the Rum Berry. It is a tropical perennial small evergreen fruiting tree/shrub native to Tropical Asia and Australia. This is one of my 6 year old shrub on our food forest. Lots of wildlings. πŸ˜πŸŒ±πŸ’š

Unripe fruits of Hanopol (Poikilospermum suaveolens). Hanopol is a woody climber, common in forests at low and medium altitudes from northern Luzon to Mindanao. Young leaves and ripe fruits are edible.
