Fast growing Marang-laparan (Litsea grandis) at 1.5yr old on the partly shaded ground.
It is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 34 metres tall. The tree is harvested from the wild for its wood, which is used locally and is also traded as 'medang' timber. The wood is used for planks and house construction, but has an unpleasant smell. 💕🌱🌳
