Alagaw (Premna odorata)

Free fruits/seeds for sharing! (Until supply last only)

Non-Stop fruiting of Alagaw (Premna odorata). It's a fast growing native tree with lots of medicinal uses — for cough and colds etc. Leaves can be eaten cooked in my favorite "paksiw" — a local Filipino dish. A 🐩 bird magnet and also a favorite of our pollinators 🩋🐝.

Black Sapote (Diospyros nigra)

Still a rainy day today and took advantage by dropping my first Black Sapote (Diospyros nigra). This is a Florida cultivar with small to medium-sized fruit of very good quality.



Ripe fruits of Black sapote or chocolate pudding fruit.

Libas (Spondias pinnata)

Additional Libas (Spondias pinnata) on the ground, also known as Common Hog Plum. Its leaves, flowers and fruits are edible.

Araza (Eugenia stipitata)

New rare fruit in my collection — Araza (Eugenia stipitata). Originated in the western part of Amazonia. This plant is a lesser-known and underutilized crop, which have certain attractive properties for further agricultural development. It'll took 2-3 years before fruiting.

Bagalunga (Melia dubia)

Bagalunga (Melia dubia) doing well after 7mos on the ground. Very good species for agroforestry, fast growing and the wood is termite resistant.

Giant Atis

One of my Giant Atis at approximately 12ft tall. Outplanted on December 2020, roughly 2 months from now it will be 2yrs old on the ground.



Its leaves are now beginning to get huge. All in all it's healthily growing.

Gamboge (Garcinia xanthochymus)

Outplanted my last remaining seedling of Gamboge (Garcinia xanthochymus). Germinated this from  seeds last December 2020. Fruit is good for jams and juices.



A matured Gamboge tree bearing its first fruit after 5 years.

Malabar chestnut (Pachira aquatica)

Woody capsule with nuts of Malabar chestnut (Pachira aquatica). Native to Central and South America. Nuts are edible can be consumed raw or roasted with a flavor similar to a European chestnut. The nuts can also be grind and use them in a hot drink.



The interior of the capsule where the edible seeds can be harvested and can be eaten raw.

Katmon (Dillenia philippinensis)

Lots of fruit from my young Katmon (Dillenia philippinensis) mother tree.



This is only a 2.5 year old tree. 



Very popular for landscaping due to its big white flowers.

Kayumanis/Kalomata (Clausena anisum-olens)

Kayumanis/Kalomata (Clausena anisum-olens). The leaves of C. anisum-olens are used as a condiment in preparing local dishes and beverages. In the Philippines, decoction of roots and fruits used for cough with fever. Leaves are stuffed in pillows for its soporofic effect.



Bright yellow flowers of Kayumanis or Kalomata that is good for local pollinators.



Plenty of Kayumanis seedlings ready for outplanting.

Finally dropped my first Balayong (Cassia nodosa) on the ground. Successfully germinated this from seeds.

Cedar Bay Cherry (Eugenia reinwardtiana)

Additional Cedar Bay Cherry (Eugenia reinwardtiana) on the ground. It is a shrub to small tree in the family Myrtaceae. The tree is cultivated to a limited extent for its edible sweetish fruit that is often eaten out-of-hand, used to flavour drinks and candies, or as a preserve. The fruit is a source of antioxidants.

Tiga (Tristaniopsis micrantha)

Dropped my last Tiga (Tristaniopsis micrantha) on the ground. A small to medium-sized hardwood tree up to 10 m tall.
