Harvest time for my 2 year old #Langkawas (Alpinia galanga). Alpinia #galanga, or Lengkuas, is a large herbaceous plant that can grow up to 3.5 m in height. It’s closely related to ginger and turmeric and has been used in #Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Its rhizome is a versatile ingredient used in Southeast Asian cuisine. It also produces fragrant and edible yellow-white flowers that are eaten as vegetable. 😍🌱💕
