One of my Lumbayao (Heritiera javanica) outplanted lastyear under a heavily shaded area. It is fast growing on full sun.
Compared to the other seedlings outplanted on the open area, this is a bit slow growing but is completely fine for me.
The tree is a source of 'mengkulang' timber; it is often harvested from the wild for its timber, which is traded commercially.
