Tree walk/chat with a quickie forest bathing and checking some of the almost 300 species of native trees collection of Engr. Andres Pedregosa in Antipas, North Cotabato.

Kalantas (Toona calantas) is fast growing compare to the hardwood Betis (Madhuca betis)

The only native Acasia to the Philippines. It is considered invasive in other countries. 

Beautiful Bahai tree. 

One of the fastest growing native species that can replace the exotic falcatta as a plantation species for the pulp industry. 

24 year old White Lauan (Shorea contorta). Planted by Engr. Andres Pedregosa in 1998.
