Another treasure from Java. This is the Green Tampang (Artocarpus dadah), is a fairly important source of keledang timber; the wood is used especially for poles, bridges and flooring. The yellowish wood is reported to be durable, resistant to insect attack. The tree is commonly exploited from the wild for its timber, which is traded internationally.
The fruit is edible with acidic flavor eaten and dispersed by mammals, such as monkeys. 😍🌱🌳
