I outplanted this Magkono/Mangkono (Xanthostemon verdugonianus) in the front side since it is a gorgeous red-flowering tree. Xanthostemon verdugonianus is known to be the hardest Philippine hardwood species. The tree is rare and is classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN due to overharvesting and habitat loss. 😍🌱🌳
