Malanangka (Parartocarpus venenosus)

Time to outplant this Malanangka (Parartocarpus venenosus) that's been sitting in my nursery for 2 years.

While its latex is poisonous and was historically used as an arrow poison, the ripe fruit's orange flesh is sweet and sour, and the seeds are edible when ripe, particularly in cultivated varieties from the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. The wood is also used for light construction, plywood, and furniture. 💚🌱🌳
