Edible fern fronds (Diplazium esculentum)

Foraging fiddleheads of vegetable fern (Diplazium esculentum) locally known as "pako". It is an edible fern found throughout Asia and Oceania. It is probably one of the most commonly consumed ferns. They offer a crisp, snappy texture similar to asparagus or green beans, with a uniquely earthy, nutty, and sweet flavor. 🌿💚🌱
