Queen Pineapple
The Queen Pineapple is known as the sweetest pineapple in the world. Despite its rough and thorny exterior, the Ormoc Queen Pineapple is sweet and succulent on the inside, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. This variety are more tolerant of diseases and cold temperatures than other types of pineapple. 😋🍍🍍

Eviarc Jackfruit variety at Baybay City
Picking some Eviarc Jackfruit at Baybay City. This jackfruit variety is officially recognized as the sweetest in the world, with a remarkable Brix level of 25.1 to 26.
Our week-long get away officially ended at Baybay City. I'll be bringing home the new knowledge that we acquired from the Agarwood training in Ormoc city and with wonderful memores that we meet along the way.

Exploring Lake Danao — Ormoc City
Locals in Lake Danao called this shellfish as "Tab". They offer a variety of ways to cook the "Tab" we tried the best seller "Tab sisig", "Tab crispy" and "Tab with Pako". According to a local traveller published in his blog, this "Tab" is a local population of Chinese pond mussel (Sinanodonta woodiana). Most likely this is an introduced species since the lake also has Carp thriving and the carp act as hosts for shellfish larvae (glochidia).
