Brachychiton acerifolius, commonly known as the Illawarra Flame Tree, is a spectacular Australian native known for shedding its foliage in summer to produce a vibrant canopy of bright red, bell-shaped flowers. These vibrant blossoms are highly attractive to local pollinators, acting as an excellent foraging source for native bees as well as butterflies. It is highly valued globally as an ornamental feature tree. Good as a shade tree in larger landscapes. Ideal for parks and streetscapes. Can also be used in large gardens as a feature tree.
We will release a few seedlings in the next couple of months. 😍🌱🌳
