This is the Luc's Garcinia (Garcinia mexicana) after 7 months on the ground. This is tropical fruit tree native to Mexico, known for its lush foliage and edible fruits. 

Outplanted last year August of 2024.

Black Berry Jam fruit (Randia formosa). This is native to Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. The fruit contains two cells with small flat seeds surrounded by sweet, black, soft pulp that tastes like blackberry jam.  😋❤️🌱

I've been growing this Prik Chee Fah chili from Thailand since 2022. It still gives us a lot of fruits for everyday culinary use. It has a medium heat and very tolerable. ❤️🌱🌶️

Red Ruby Longan (Dimocarpus longan)

Delighted to received this grafted Red Ruby Longan (Dimocarpus longan) from PJ's Plant Nursery. I do have a rare fruit casualty last year because of the drought so this will be a perfect replacement. 💕🌱🌳

Highly attractive during fruiting time. The fruits are very juicy and sweet, Ruby red color, translucent flesh with the consistency of a grape, Taste resembling lychee and grape.

Buddha's Hand (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis)

Flowering time for my Fingered Citron or Buddha's Hand (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis). Buddha's hand fruit is very fragrant and is used predominantly in China and Japan for perfuming rooms and personal items such as clothing. 

Buddha's hand fruit can also be eaten (often as a zest or flavouring) in desserts, savory dishes, and alcoholic beverages (such as vodka or rice liquor) or candied as a sweet. The sliced, dried peel of immature fruits is also prescribed as a tonic in traditional medicine. 💕🌱🌳

Niyog-niyogan (Ficus pseudopalma)

Edible young shoots of Niyog-niyogan (Ficus pseudopalma). This is endemic in the Philippines. Leaf decoction used for the treatment of hypertension, diabetes, kidney stones, high cholesterol, urinary tract infections, stomach ulcers, and high uric acid. 💕🌱🌳

Ripe fruits of Ficus pseudopalma are also edible.

Caimito (Chrysophyllum cainito)

We harvested some ripe fruits of Caimito (Chrysophyllum cainito). Season usually starts in January and last until March. Fruits are a rich source of natural antioxidants such as flavonoids and vitamin E, C, and A. 😋🌱🌳

My son Bovith loves the juicy jelly-like texture of the fruit. It's his firstime trying this fruit. 

We only harvested what we need for the day. We leave some for the wildlife.
