Yellow Habanero

My Yellow Habanero is neglected but still productive. The Yellow Habanero has the famous fruity flavour, and deep heat that is common across the entire Habanero family. Measuring in between 200,000 to 350,000 Scoville Heat Units, the Yellow Habanero isn't for the faint hearted. It can be eaten fresh or raw, and creates beautiful golden-coloured sauces. πŸ˜‹πŸŒΆ️πŸ”₯

Mamalis (Pittosporum pentandrum)

Time to outplant more native trees. Mamalis (Pittosporum pentandrum) a.k.a. Cheesewood. Native to the Philippines, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

The wood of the Mamalis is used for novelty items and fashion accessories, such as anklets, bracelets, necklaces and beads, which are exported to Japan, Europe and United States.

This tree is known to be drought-resistant and can be considered a good reforestation tree in areas with grasses and weeds since it can withstand growth competition. ❤️🌱🌳

The seeds are not easy to germinate but BORIS PRIVATE SANCTUM will try to propagate soon via clone.

Kabal/Malakape (Utania volubilis)

A flowering Kabal/Malakape (Utania volubilis) with its frequent visitor. πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‹

The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine etc. It has potential for use as a pioneer species when restoring native woodland.

Candlestick Fruit (Parmentiera cereifera)

Only one survived among the germinants of Candlestick Fruit (Parmentiera cereifera). This still needs an intensive care to be able to reach the desired age for outplanting. There is hope! 😍🌱🌳

This fruit is native to Panama but now spreads all over the South America.
