Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans)

Sometimes the weeds can keep your new plants cool under the sweltering heat of the sun. This is Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) outplanted couple of months ago.

I do put a shade for the young outplanted seedling, its from a leaf of a coconut and sometimes weeds will occupy most of it acting additional protection for the plant.

A sample fruit of a Nutmeg from the mother tree. The red arils is one of the most priced spice in the world.

This is the photo of the mother tree where the seeds came from and germinated it successfully.
