Dayap (Citrus macroptera)

Fruit fall of native citrus Dayap (Citrus macroptera). Utilizing the fruits by putting it in the drinker for poultry use. It is a natural supplement to alleviate heat stress and improved immunity of broiler chickens under hot climate. πŸ‹ πŸ”πŸ¦ƒ



I will be germinating the seeds of the rest of the fallen fruits. 



Cut in half the whole fruit and squeeze the juice to mix in the water.

Amyruca (Psychotria alba)

Ripe berries of Amyruca (Psychotria alba) from one of my 3 year old mother plant. This is native to Amazonia and Acre (Brazil). Plants from the genus Psychotria (leaves, roots, barks and rhizomes) are commonly used in traditional medicines for treating bronchial and gastrointestinal disorders such as cough, bronchitis, ulcer and stomachache. Also they are used for infections of the female reproductive system. πŸ’•πŸŒ±πŸŒ³

Bago (Gnetum gnemon)

I'm using the leaves of Bago (Gnetum gnemon) to wrapped the anchovies for cooking paksiw. 



This Bago specimen is already planted, taken the wildlings from the wild 4 years ago. ❤️🌱🌳 


One of my favorite leaves used for wrapping small fish. 



All set and just add garlic, onions, ginger and vinegar.

Chom chan (Ipomoea alba)

New addition to my edible vine collection — Dok Chom Chan or Moon Flower (Ipomoea alba). One of Thailand's favorite flower used for cooking. πŸ˜‹πŸŒ±❤️



Unopened flowers are harvested and will be used for cooking, very common in Thai cuisine. 



Chom chan flowers sold in a supermarket.



BORIS PRIVATE SANCTUM will propagate more of this for future disposal.

Preparing the pond

Relocated this Catfish to a smaller pond to give way for the Tilapia fingerlings.



Only two of this catfish remained. I intentionally raise them with a purpose since 2022. 



The smaller pond and this will serve as their new home.



This is the big pond. Preparing it for a batch of red tilapia fingerlings. 



I also have an extra pond but BORIS PRIVATE SANCTUM is planning to culture some Crayfish in that pond soon.




Lance Dracaena (Dracaena aubryana)

Flowering Lance Dracaena (Dracaena aubryana). Native throughout tropical Africa, this slow growing shrub adapts to low light and thrives in bright indirect sunlight. It is eye catchy and bright, a great space filler for your home. 😍🌱❤️

Kadok/Lolot (Piper sarmentosum)

This will be one of my ground cover — Kadok/Lolot (Piper sarmentosum). It is a sprawling herbaceous creeper with its leaves are often confused with betel. 



Piper sarmentosum Roxb. (Piperaceae) is a traditional medicinal plant widely distributed in India, Malaysia, Thailand, and the southeastern coastal areas of China including Fujian, Guangdong, and Guizhou. It has been used for centuries for the treatment of wind-cold cough, fever, rheumatism arthralgia, diarrhea dysentery, postpartum foot swelling, stomachache, toothache, diabetes, and traumatic injury. ❤️πŸŒ±πŸ’•

Lanutan Bagyo (Gonystylus macrophyllus)

New species on the ground — Lanutan Bagyo (Gonystylus macrophyllus). This is a huge tree growing up to 45mtrs tall with a bole up to 100cm in diameter. It is also an agarwood producing tree if infected with a fungus. Highly valued, it is used as an incense and to make high quality perfumes. πŸ’•πŸŒ±πŸŒ³

Melarosa Lemon

Very fast propagation of Melarosa Lemon via air layering. 😍🌱🌳



This variety of citrus seems fit for my climate here with too much rainfall and yet they are still productive.
