Batoko Plum (Flacourtia inermis)

One of my Batoko Plum (Flacourtia inermis) aka lovi-lovi doing good snd will be turning 2 years old on the ground this coming December.

This is native to the Philippines and It has no thorns compare to the most common Seryales/Serali (Flacourtia indica) which grows here naturally spread by birds. 😍🌱🌳

Successfully germinated this from the seeds of the ripe fruit 3yrs ago.

Edible fruits of Batoko Plum from its mother tree. It can be eaten raw or can be processeds into jams and wine.

For more interesting rare native fruits, check BORIS PRIVATE SANCTUM.
