Ripe fruits of Bael (Aegle marmelos). Also known as Wood Apple. This is native to Indian subcontinent, present in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The tree is considered to be sacred by Hindus and Buddhists. I will be germinating all of the seeds extracted from the fruit for future planting materials. 😍🌱🌳
The fruit taste sweet and tangy with a combination of citrus and tamarind.
