Seagrape (Coccoloba uvifera)

One of my Seagrape (Coccoloba uvifera) @ 15mos on the open ground.

The fruits of the sea grape may be eaten raw, cooked into jellies and jams, or fermented into sea grape wine. The sap has been used for dyeing and tanning leather. The wood has occasionally been used in furniture. 😍🌱🌳

From a couple of feet tall seedling last June of 2022, it is now standing at 6ft.

BORIS PRIVATE SANCTUM will soon propagate another batch of planting materials from this specimen.
